We are a community which understands the importance of community involvement. Milton Hershey brought us Hershey chocolate and we strive to continue his legacy. We are a community which is proud of our beginnings. A visit to our town brings the beauty of Hershey gardens, the relaxation of the Hershey Hotel and Spa, the variety of food in our numerous restaurants and Broadway shows at the Hershey Theater. We are home to the fabulous family theme park famously known as Hersheypark! Every summer thousands of families visit our community to experience the fun and laughter that Hersheypark can bring! Yet roller coasters, water rides and Dolphin shows are not the only things our community offers family vacationers. Such research is instrumental not only in developing cures in the future, but in providing excellent care for the patients who are currently in need. Not only does this expansion provide significant job growth, but it allows for important medical research to take place on numerous medical issues. We have the Hershey Medical Center which continues to expand its facilities yearly. We have an outstanding school district which graduates exceptional students, the majority of whom attend top-rated colleges and universities. The Hershey/Hummelstown area is a wonderful place to live.
